Natural Mold Cleaners
I read a touching story just the other day about a family that was already struggling through life and then their lives took another turn for the worse. This was a family of four. A single mother and her 3 young kids that were living in South Florida. They had to move out of their home because of a brutal divorce. They had to find a roof over their heads so like a good mother this lady went and found a place to stay with the minimal amount of money she had. It was a small 1 bedroom apartment, not too flashy, just a roof over their head. She had to put a safety deposit down on the apartment of $500.00 which the apartment company said they could get back. To make a long story short, the plumbing in the apartment above them sprung a leak and all the water leaked through the roof and into their apartment. The apartment company came in and supposedly fixed everything to prevent mold from growing but they only did what was withing their budget. This poor family had no idea of the problems that mold would be causing them in the very near future.
Toxic Black Mold
Six months passed by and the roof of this apartment started to turn black where the leak as supposedly fixed. This mother complained and complained about it for another three months before the apartment complex eventually found the time to send someone out to fix it. All the maintenance guy did was just make sure it wasn’t leaking. Which there was no leak present. The mother found a job but eventually lost her job because her children kept on getting sick. She had to keep taking her children to the hospital for stomach cramps,azthma, and the children were always fatigued for some reason.
The doctors ran some tests and came to a conclusion that the family was exposed to toxic black mold. After so many complaints to the apartment complex president they finally sent over a mold inspector to check out the problem. They found mold in the walls, the whole room had mold growing all inside of it. There was so much mold growth that the inspector demanded they evacuate the apartment due to the living conditions were unsuitable to live in. The mold inspector had to use a high powered mold cleaning kit to clean out the whole areas of the home. They also had to use dehumidifiers and extract and clean all the black mold that was present in the home. This took over 6 months to complete. During this time the mother finally caught a lucky break and won her case with the courts. She was then placed in another apartment where there were no detection of mold growth present.
There was pretty much nothing this mother could have done about this black mold problem she had. This is why mold is so dangerous because you could actually have mold growing in your home and never will know about it until it is too late. The best thing to do is have a supply of good mold cleaners available and constanly check areas around the home where there will be the most potential of mold growth. These places may be the bathrooms, basement, patio, carpets, kitchen, or any where there could be a chance of moisture. Take mold seriously at all times beuase if you don’t it will turn a small mold problem into a very serious one.
