Natural Mold Killing Products

Just recently, I noticed the concrete in my patio was turning black and becoming very slippery.  We live down here in the South Florida area and we have been going through some nasty summer storms.  I guess that is where this black mold is coming from.  I frequently cook on the patio grilling up burgers, ribs, and steaks but I never noticed until a couple of days ago when I was cooking for the Dolphin game and I almost slipped and busted my rear end.  I looked down and the mold had developed a coating of black slime on my concrete floor.  I couldn’t believe that it had grown that fast.  I mean I always cook in the patio and I never noticed it.  I had to do something about it fast or me and the Mrs. we at risk of slipping again and possibly hurting ourselves.

I searched for some natural mold removing products online and I found a store that sold mold sprays, and 5 gallon pales of mold cleaning solution.  I was tempted to buy just one bottle but I didn’t think it was going to be enough for the whole patio.  I went ahead and purchased the 5 gallon pale of the natural mold killer.  It only took a couple of days to get here and when it did I went to work.  I had one of those pump sprayers that the pest control guys use to spray pesticide around the house. I filled that thing up with the natural mold killer and sprayed the whole patio and let it sit for about 20 minutes.

 I then took one of my brushes that I use to sweep the sidewalks after I cut the grass, you know the hard brown bristle ones that are like 3 feet wide and I used that just to get a nice scrub on the concrete and lift the black mold off the concrete.  I was surprised to see how easy the black mold came off the concrete because of the strength of the mold killing product.  All I did next was I washed the concrete down with a hose and then sprayed another coat of the mold killer on the concrete like the directions said, and I was finished.  The stuff worked great and my patio looks cleaner than ever but more importantly, it is also safe to walk on now.
