Recently I was watching the local news station and their breaking story was about a South Florida mom who lived in Miramar Florida that was experiencing black mold symptoms and the bad thing was she didn’t even know it until it was too late. She was an ordinary stay at home mom but was enhaling toxic black mold for a long period of time without even knowing she was being exposed to toxic black mold. Here is her story.
The women whose name we will call Jackie was living in her home in west Miramar Florida with her husband and two children. She lived her day as a normal mom cleaning the home and getting dinner ready for when her loving husband and children came home. She started to develop flu like symptoms and she found it very hard to breathe. No one thought it was due to toxic black mold because there was no sign of black mold in there home, at least they thought their wasn’t.
Dangers Of Black Mold
Apparently, a couple of months back the family had to replace an old broken down refrigerator. When they company came to install the refridgerator they had to mount a water pipe to the wall so that the refrigerator could make ice using the automatic ice maker. What they didn’t know was the company that installed the refrigerator drilled a self tapping screw into the wall but also drilled into one of the main water lines in the wall.
Needless to say, over time the screw was in the wall clogging the hole of the water line until over time the screw rusted and broke which caused water to not only drip inside the dry walls but also slowly drip onto the floor behind the refrigerator. No one knew what was going on especially the live at home mother.
Now here is the bad part!
As time went on the mother started having breathing problems to the point that she started having anxiety attacks to the point that the husband called in a psychiatrist to have her evaluated for insanity. She was literally going psychotic because she was having such a hard time breathing that she was getting so scared to live in her home that she wanted to get out of her home. No one knew her condition was turning for the worst.
Naturally the husband gave her the option to live in the RV that was in their back yard to solve this problem. As soon as she went to the RV she felt better but she developed Asthma and no one knew why she was having all these health issues.
The husband called in to have his home inspected and wouldn’t you know it the toxic black mold levels where so high that he and is two children we not allowed back into their home and were also forced to live in the RV in the back yard.
Since the main water line was ruptured behind the dry walls there was so much toxic mold spores growing behind the walls of their home that the whole house was consumed with toxic mold within a matter of a couple of months. This is sad because this could of been prevented.
Even if you think your home is safe from black mold it is always a good idea to have some natural mold cleaning products available for the minor problems of black mold. Even if you don’t have this major problem of water dripping into the dry walls of your home you should do whatever it takes to keep mold out of your home.
Cleaning Mold
This story should prove to you that black mold can literally kick you out of your home and cause you pain and suffering. Make sure you do what ever it takes to prevent black mold from entering your home by cleaning mold when and wherever you see it.
As of today the family is still living out of their RV until they find a way to not only rid their home of toxic black mold but as you all may know, they have to figure out a way to pay for someone to remove toxic black mold from their home so that the mold exposure is eliminated.
