First of all let me wish all of you a happy Labor Day.  We all work hard for a living and we deserve some time off to enjoy with the family. Many families like to spend the whole day relaxing at home or even taking the time to get things situated in the home and cleaned up.  Whatever you do is perfectly fine for how ever you would like to spend the day.  Some families like to go to the beach or the city park to have a nice picnic or even a bar b que with friends and family. This is what I like to do best. Invite some friends over to the beach, get there early enough so that we can find a picnic table, light the fire, and get a cold beer out of the cooler and get ready for some cooking!

But there are some downsides to going to the beach and having a cookout that you should be aware of. last month I was almost a victim of the dangers of black mold. Apparently this grill wasn’t used much and there was black mold all over it.  Not many people realize the deadly black mold health issues can be and most people don’t even realize that they are experiencing black mold health effects.  I know that since the grill is hot it will burn off the black mold and minimize the dangers of black mold but why take the risk of getting that in your food.

I also noticed that there was black mold health issues on the picnic table as well.  One of the dangers of black mold is that it can attach itself to your skin and clothes. This is how black mold spores travel so fast.  I really didn’t have any black mold removal products handy so I basically packed up everything and went to find a cleaner table and bar b que.  Although the family doesn’t realize the dangers of black mold and the black mold health issues that can occur with exposure to mold, I do and maybe one day they will realize why we switched picnic areas. But for now I am in the doghouse.

The point of this story is that black mold can be anywhere. Not just at the beach but also in your home bar b que grils, patio, and on your patio furniture as well.  It is always a good idea to minimize the dangers of black mold exposure by keeping a black mold cleaner available so that you can spray the effected area to kill the black mold and prevent black mold health issues from harming your family in the future.  The only way to keep black mold in check is to constantly be on top of it.
