Fashion icon Tim Gunn proves to us that he doesn’t only care about the ramp. He, too cares a lot about the planet. Other people show their love for the Earth by coming up with green daily activities like using no-fail carpet cleaners or by cleaning their cars with harmless cleaners, the Fashion Highness does his thing by going against fur.

Tim recorded a video for PETA where he fearlessly campaigned against fur. We quote, “Any designer in the fashion industry who does not want to watch the PETA video and see exactly what happens to animals and how they’re treated and how the product that they use comes to the marketplace I believe is egregiously irresponsible,” says Gunn.

Tim seems to be really serious about the “against fur” campaign. He even discussed it with his pal Joshua Katcher of The Discerning Brute. The fashion guru wants the whole world to understand the brutalities which take place in the fur industry. According to him, one can look rich and fabulous even without wearing fur. He adds that there are a wide range of great fur alternatives out there.
